The Challenge:• Limited budget for the project
• Tight timescales – all work had to be complete within school holiday
• Weather - 2019 was a very wet summer which interrupted programme
• Additional work – full replacement of rotten deck in one school

 

The Solution:• AMJ utilized our supply chain partners to offer an approved alternative product which met all quality requirements and significant saving to allow all works to happen in original budget (including new deck)
• Detailed and efficient programme - revised with impact of additional work and weather to include extended and weekend working

 

Project:Extension to Old Stratford Primary School

Objective:A Design and Build Contract to construct an extension for a local primary school

 

The Challenge:• Minimising disruption and protection of staff, pupils and parents in working school environment
• Project delivery - on time, in budget in a restricted working area

 

The Solution:• To create a detailed and effective Health & Safety Plan (in conjunction with our H&S Consultant - Thompson Safety Services) that enabled the project to progress to meet the tight timescales whilst working in the restraints of key school timings and in a fully functional environment
• To utilise our Project Management expertise to create and deliver against guaranteed timings to minimise disruption and hazard to the school and pupils
